How much will it cost to remove my junk?

We generally charge by the volume of items that we take away. However, for heavy items, such as rubble & soil, we may charge by weight. Junk and waste that has a mixture of general and heavy items will generally still be charged by volume.

Our prices include sufficient time for two people collecting the junk from anywhere on the premises, a sweep up/vacuum once the job is completed, and disposal costs at a Licensed Waste Transfer Station. Please see our 'Prices' section for more information.

What does Love Your Junk do?

Our aim is to revolutionise junk removal. We remove junk reliably, efficiently and professionally from commercial and residential premises.

What can't you take?

We can remove virtually anything that can be handled by two people. We cannot , however, remove certain hazardous materials, including paint or paint cans, motor oils, petrol cans, solvents, asbestos, raw meat and fish, medical or biological waste (including faeces), or any other toxic substance.

Do I receive an exact price before we arrive?

We charge according to the volume of items that we remove. We can give you a rough estimate over the telephone. However, we can only provide you with an exact price once we see the volume of items that need to be removed. We will only proceed with the job when you are completely happy.

What do you do with the collected junk?

A large proportion of items are recycled or reused, by delivering them to charities, second hand clothes and furniture shops, or specialist recycling centres. The remainder is taken to a Licensed Waste Transfer Station where the materials are recycled for other uses or disposed of in the most environmentally manner possible.

What items do you carry with you?

We carry shovels, rubble/black bags, dust sheets, vacuum cleaner, brooms, a set of tools, plastic shoe covers and a trolley.

Why should I use you instead of using a skip?

We compare very favorably when compared to using a skip. In many cases, we are cheaper then using a skip and there are many other advantages. The main benefit is that we do all the hard work for you, collecting junk from anywhere on your premises. Also, you don't need a skip license and you will also not have to put up with the really annoying habit of your neighbours filling up your skip! Also, you only pay for the volume of junk that we remove, rather than paying the full price for a skip regardless of how much of it is filled. For many reasons, our service is far more cost effective then using a skip.
